Jernhatten

A trip to Jernhatten is approximately 5 km. The route feels shorter thanks to the many sights along the beach. You’ll walk past Djursland’s best preserved fort, among other things. On the way up, you’ll pass through the troll forest before reaching the top (49 m above sea level) with its wonderful view.

The Dråby trail

There are 2 hiking trails at 6.9 km (yellow) and 9.6 km (yellow + blue). Along the way, you will experience various natural landscapes such as beach meadows and an old gulf. You will see small meadows along the basin. There are many birds there, including herons. From the top of Karlsbjerget (53 meters above sea level), you get a wonderful view of the area. The blue trail continues with a path along the Dråby Lake with its carr and an old harbour.
